Milad Tower is the tallest building in Tehran and the sixth tallest tower in the world. This multipurpose tower was inaugurated in February 2009 after 11 years of construction led by Mohammad Reza Hafezi, the architect chosen to carry out this gigantic project. Milad Tower is located in the north of the city and consists of several shopping malls, events and business rooms, a cafeteria and a luxury restaurant. Milad tower consists of five parts, the foundations, the entrance hall, the axis, the head structure and the antenna that make up this 435-meter-high telecommunications tower. The lobby consists of six floors where there are commercial units, exhibition and conference rooms and courtyards where different exhibitions and events are hosted. Through six elevators, the lobby connects to the upper floors, which is done at a speed of seven meters per second. The head of the Milad tower consists of twelve floors. The observation deck at the top of the headland offers a panoramic view of Tehran, the Tochal mountain and etc. The revolving restaurant is ideal for enjoying delicious food and seeing the city underfoot. The Milad Tower antenna is where much of Iran's radio and television broadcasting takes place. All this work of art has been designed by the famous Iranian architect, Mohammad Reza Hafezi.
